We all have been through the peaks and valleys in life, but there’s something that remains constant: Gratitude changes your outlook on life. When I’m going through the valleys, shifting my outlook to thankfulness makes the situation better. And it’s in these moments where finding at least one thing (hopefully more) to be thankful for, opens the door to positivity rather than negativity. Turn lemons into lemonade every chance you get.
“When you arise in the morning, give thanks for the food and for the joy of living. If you see no reason for your thanks, you simply look again.”: — Marcus Aurelius
“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity.”: — Melody Beattie
“The real gift of gratitude is that the more grateful you are, the more present you become.”: — Melody Beattie
“Gratitude is not only the greatest of virtues, but the parent of all others.”: — Cicero
“Be thankful for what you have; you’ll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don’t have, you will never, ever have enough.”: — Oprah Winfrey
Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in
Christ Jesus for you. – 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
